Muddy Waters Doing "That Same Thing" A Great Real Blues Tune To learn From

Fantastic video of Muddy Waters at The Montreux Jazz Festival with Junior Wells on harp and I'm not sure about the lead guitarist. It may be Magic Sam.

I could be totally wrong on both accounts. This is a real blues tune your band should learn to play. Most rock players have a hard time with slow blues, or jazz material.

What better way than to learn from Muddy singing. You should also play and phrase from singers, not lead guitar or percussion. Just my two cents.

I know I'll get emails from players saying I don't know shit. If I wasn't making an impact, then no one would say a thing.

Muddy is one of the Blues Masters, and Dee Curtis my consultant here at Canadian Guitar Player would agree.
