Provide Value for other musicians and you'll succeed
With the Musicians Instant Press Kit,I always focus on creating value for others.So should you.If you're opening up for a local band and have learned about making your Press Kit, do the same thing for the band you're opening for.
Yeah,so they make more money than you! Big deal.
Offer to interview them,put regular articles of them on your site and do Q and A sessions for their fans at their gigs.Don't ask for anything in return.
You're opening for them,isn't that incentive to help them and others?
I think so.
I'll keep this short guys.Do interviews with bands in your niche and create value they wouldn't get with conventional media.
Keep it simple.
Do video interviews,audio podcasts and write for them.
I know you're doing your own Press Kit,but do the same for other
bands,and the ones willing to work their asses off,will see the
value you provide and want to work with you.
This could become a joint venture that works like crazy!
