How To Create Value for Musicians You Want To Open For--A Simple Tip

Okay, you obviously have a band or else you wouldn't be on this damn site. Alright, lets say you have a band that  plays twice a month and is working on your material and developing a better set list. The thing is you're going to have a great set list and work on your material, but getting gigs is tough in your city. Even if you live in Los Angeles, regular gigs are tough to come by.

Here's a dead simple tip. I'm going to have these short simple tips in the days to come. Yeah, I know I've gone over this shit many times but you've got to take action on them guys. Go see a local band who's material you like live. Chances are they don't get much media attention. Offer to interview them and put the interview on your site. As well, contact local College Media to come out to their gigs.

Do regular interviews with this band and don't ask for anything in return. What? Gog?

Yep, don't ask for anything.Keep playing regularly and working on your live songs and writing. Keep on doing interviews with this band and ask to interview them in front of a crowd at their gig. Again, don't mention your band. This will create Massive Value for this band. I'll have the next tip later this week.
