Eh, everybody. Mark here and I'm just letting you know the next installment of how to get not just higher, but high paying gigs will be up Monday. Take your time and read the first tip on it. It's a process your band needs to take in small chunks or else most bands will quit and go back to those shitty paying gigs forever.
I doubt if that's in your plans, and I don't want that for ya' either. Some stuff you won't like to do and some stuff after you've done it you'll go, ah-ha now I get why we should do that. It's a learning and earning big slabs o'cash thang. You can do it and I want your band to do it. Think about this but not for long and that is, what will happen if you don't do anything, and just play with the same bands spinning your wheels and getting the odd good paying gig.
Ya see where I'm going with all this? It's not about talent. Sure the amount of talent you have has some bearing on your success. But what if a band that started 6 months ago, and they're a bunch of "wet-behind the ears" players' who've all actually been playing individually for a year at the most, and take hold of these tips and end up going on tour with "Slash" for a year and really work their craft?
You may have said when you first saw them,"they play and sound like shit." But they worked their asses off. By the way luck has a very small part in a band's success as well. It's all about implementation of these things and just doing it and never quitting. You can and will do it players. Bit by bit.
Tip number two on The Secret to High Paying Gigs will be up Monday.
Until then, keep your music alive and read the first tip like a real musician. We also have a Free Newsletter and your band can get free how to articles sent right to your little old inbox.Just send your name and email. We'll do the rest. Tell us a bit about your band if ya want.
And listen to " Frank Zappa--"Joe's Garage" (Barking Pumpkin Records)
