Musicians, Why You Need To Stop Being A Cynic On 4th Of July And Just Do What You Want

I was just reading an article from a well known writer and musician John Carlton. He always talks about cynicism as a writer, musician or performing artist being a waste of time and to just be an entrepreneur, and let the cash roll in as a musician or band. John talked in his recent article about being someone who doesn't care so much about government and what they're doing to us, and just doing what you want as a musician and helping other musicians.

Uncle Sam ain't what she used to be, so musicians, stop being the kind of musicians who do what a label, manager or agent want. Do what you want. Isn't that what the US 1st Amendment is all about? I'm from Canada and I believe in the US 1st amendment.

Hope ya like the pic of Clinton playin' Sax and some of his cronies who are the real power brokers in society. Yet aren't real business people. Kind of like the mob, aren't they?

I've got a link to John's article, which is a quick read and very important to learning why we become cynics, and why we need to stop listening to those people. The link to John's article is below this.

Much success to all musicians.
