This little ditty of a video is from 09', and I thought it was due to repost. Reason being is most players need a refresher on how to set up their guitar and amp rig. As well, how to get the tone you're looking for. It's not perfect but something you can use whether you're doing a studio gig, a live show or even a jam session.
I came across this video from a guitar player talking about the settings on your amp rig, and how to do just that if you're just jamming or gigging at a club.
There's a lot of golden nuggets players like you can use to enhance tone and learn how to set up your amp for whatever situation you're in.
Jamming,gigging,or doing studio session work. At some point I'll have a video or interview that talks about setting up both your amp and guitar, and how that is more important than learning to play, especially for beginners.
