He also has a lot of fun teaching as well.Paul says when you want to
pick differently to use your ears and hold your thumb and index finger on your picking hand so you get a dirty,crunchy tone that is clean believe it or not.And make sure you're in sync with the snare and High Hat if I'm correct.

Paul also does his lessons so you see what he's doing close-up.And last but not least,Paul says both your picking and fret hand should be in sync for better shredding and playing.
