Learn How To Play Real Blues From One The Blues Masters Eddie Taylor And SunnyLand Slim

One of the most natural bluesmen was Eddie Taylor from Chicago. In this video Eddie's playing his Fat Bodied Gibson with Sunnyland Slim on Piano. They are playing at a place called Elsewhere's. These players play methodically and with a feel not many real blues players could ever hope to achieve. As well they don't play with effects. Just analog baby! A piano, guitar and amp. Eddie Taylor's son Eddie Taylor Jr. has taken over the reins from his father. It took him many years to be able to even complement Eddie Sr's textural blues feel to a small degree. He's doin' it though. Watch this video many times to take action and learn this great blues song.Eddie backed guys like Elmore James and Jimmy Reed for years.Eddie's Rhythm axe playing was second to none as a blues artist. I miss true blues from Eddie.

Have at it with this song. Yeah, it's a little grainy, so what!!

It's from the late 70's.Just use your guitar and amp to develop your own tone and feel for this great song.
