Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones About Their 2007 Reunion--And A Great New Book On Jimmy

Brad Tolinski, the Editor-in-Chief of Guitar World has gotten to interview Page at length for this interview and Page's upcoming book,Light and Shade. I have a link to the article and interview done with Zeppelin and the subsequent book which you can get on the right sidebar of this blog. The interview talks about their issues regarding just getting back together, and what Plant was doing at the time, as well as finding suitable session players just in case.

Anyone who's a real Zeppelin fan and a musician who has learned from Page especially, you'll love the interview and you'll want to grab the book as well which I have a link to. The book goes into detail on not just what Page did with Zeppelin, but how music was composed, arranged and his work producing with other bands.

Anyone who's a real musician and rabid fan will pick this book up even if it was 100 bucks. Which it's not. No where near that. Some top players in the business have great things to say about Jimmy's book, Light Shade. Just click the link below to both the book and the interview with Zeppelin. Slash says something about the book, and so did Billy Gibbons. I realize a lot of fans want to hear about what Jimmy did as far as drugs and the Occult. Just read the book and be amazed about being taken on a journey back to the 60's and 70's with Page and Zeppelin, as well as Jimmy's masterful producing and recording with other bands, post Zeppelin.

The link to the article and interview is first. The link to Jimmy's book is below that. I know you'll get a lot of value from the book you can use in your own band and in your own life as well. I say that because I believe that to be true. Jimmy Page did a lot to change music and the way it's produced in the studio and onstage. As well, Zeppelin has had a huge following with both young people and people like myself who are past midlife.

That says a lot about who Jimmy Page is, not just as a player, but a wonderful human being.

So, get started and read the article, interview and grab the book. You can grab the book on the right side of the blog. Just click the picture of Jimmy.

Then go listen to some old Zeppelin. They may come back. Who knows?
