Hey Musicians, looked at an interview Robin Trower did in the July issue of Guitar Player. Great tip on how to be different than everyone else when overdriving your amp. And it's not using a stomp box either.
This is just something Robin did when he played with Procol Harum. He didn't think anything of it really, other than a way he was using to OD the big amp. I've got the link to the interview right here. I implore you to read the whole interview. Trower is considered one of the greats who was up there with Hendrix.
