Paul Gilbert--Shows You The Musician How To Have Fun Creating Solos And Rhythms Using Dead Simple Techniques

I love Paul Gilbert! He has fun playing music and has fun showing others how to play without coming across as a someone who's in it only for them. Paul shows you in this video how to work your solos and improvising more efficiently if they aren't working. Paul also shows you that rhythm phrasing is one of the main keys to being able to play and compose on a major level.

Pure rhythm when playing with bass, drums or even horns is what's important here guys. Mr. Gilbert also show you a way to add notes by using a percussive type of feel just using your hands. As well he says to pick music you dig.

Developing a sense of music and being able to play it and improvise on the fly! is what you'll get from this fun video, courtesy of PG. Using more rhythm type notes from bass and drums to build your sound is vital too. Paul shows you dead simply how to break things down rhythm wise and add your own phrasing and vibrato.

I suggest you take notes and start using Paul's expertise, ingenuity and playfulness in your playing, and onstage! Have fun with this Paul Gilbert Lesson guys. Much success.
