I came across this short interview Butch Trucks did on Duane Allman and what was going on in 1970 with the band. And how Duane was a huge factor in the success of the Allman's.
As well as why the band was really smiling in the front cover picture off the Filmore East album. Some of the 70's best music was composed and recorded by the Allman's even after Duane passed on the AB recorded some of the best blues rock jam material even to this day.
Butch has some fun in this short piece,and it'll take you back to an era many of us wish was still with us.
